1/2 pound – 230 grams fine powder
1 teaspoon (per 6-8 ounce cup) in your favorite milk.
Benefits & Indications:
The word chai means tea and has been a part of Indian culture for centuries. Chai is a combination of medicinal spices that have many health and wellness benefits, especially for digestion. MoreLife Market’s chai blend is enhanced with turmeric and shilajit both of which are extremely beneficial for enhancing yoga practice (or physical exercise) and used by yogis for millenniums. Our authentic chai blend is caffeine-free and is mildly sweetened with coconut sugar and can be added to your favorite milk. Once you try this original form of chai you will never settle for less.
Yogi Chai is an actual fine powder that you stir into each cup and ingest and is not just flavored through a tea bag or strained as usually done, each cup will provide you the direct benefits of having these medicinal spices enter your stomach and intestinal tract. This makes drinking Yogi Chai good for sinusitis, and bronchitis and improves overall respiratory function. Our secret, drink 1-2 cups with a teaspoon of honey early in the morning as a great kapha buster, or drink up a cup or two anytime you want to feel good!

It is traditionally recommended in the mornings to stimulate the digestive fire (agni) or metabolism. Add 1 teaspoon heaping (per 8 -10 ounce cup) to your favorite milk and warm in a small pot while stirring occasionally. *For those that prefer their chai a bit stronger 2 teaspoons can be added. Pour and serve, no need to sift because you want to ingest the spices for their medicinal benefits. For those that prefer drinking chai with cow’s milk and are prone to sinusitis or mucous congestion (kapha) we recommend an adjusted ratio of 1/3 milk and 2/3 water or use one of the many alternative milks like hemp, coconut, soy, or rice. We recommend using the Aerolatte’s Original Steam-Free Milk Frother to get the ideal consistency and to properly distribute the ingredients.
Note: This tea is an ingestible powder that provides greater benefits when the powder is ingested. Straining the spices is not required.
